After a successful initial set-up in the waiting room for unscheduled consultations, we have chosen to equip all our consultation rooms to protect the patients and the staff.
The Challenge
Vauban Clinic is located near Paris in an area that has an active and intense cluster of COVID-19. Protecting patients and staff is a major issue, which is why the clinic wanted to install UV-C disinfection luminaires in the rooms where patients are received.
The right lighting
In the Vauban clinic, Philips UV-C disinfection upper air luminaires were installed in the waiting rooms and consultation rooms. UV-C radiation is a known disinfectant for air, surfaces, objects and water that can help mitigate the risk of acquiring an infection and has been used extensively for more than 40 years.
